Believe it or not, we met on Tinder! Diana (aka SoftGirlDiana) was a Mormon Sunday school teacher studying neuroscience, and Damien had a small business building rustic furniture in his garage.
Her dating profile said she was an asexual interested in both men and women. His simply said, “6’3” INTJ.” A quick online chat about Diana’s satanic rituals (later revealed to be a joke) and Damien’s missing dog turned into an eight-hour first date, walking around the city and *talking, talking, talking.*
We both loved Arrested Development, Labyrinth, BoJack Horseman, and stupid Vines. We had both dated *a lot* of people. We both felt deeply neutral about Nickelback and Taylor Swift, but really disliked the haters. We both preferred to take things slow. Two *months* after our first date, we had our first kiss. Two *years* after, we got married. (Our dating anniversary and wedding anniversary are the same date!)
Covid tried to ruin the wedding. Nine people in the woods near our home, standing under a pergola Damien built... but we wouldn't change a thing. Also during Covid, Diana proposed an idea to earn a little extra money for school, our delayed honeymoon, and her worsening chronic health problems... but that's a story for another platform! Thanks to our bold new endeavor, Damien was able to quit building furniture, Diana was able to continue her neuroscience degree, and once Covid began winding down, we were finally able to honeymoon in Hawaii.
In fact, Hawaii was only the first of many adventures! We've now visited a dozen countries from Australia to Colombia, and documented every single moment : )
A few years after we began sharing ourselves online, the idea began to evolve. People seemed to genuinely connect with the relationship they saw on screen, and when they began asking for more... we decided to give it to them.

We have no idea if this idea will truly take off, but the people who like it seem to REALLY like it, so we're going to keep posting new chapters weekly! The majority of the chats are totally free to read, no ads, no signup required 💛
Now, several years later, we still wake up every morning blown away that this is our life. We knew we had something special to share, but had no idea how many people were longing to see this type of connection in these types of spaces. Your support has allowed us to make significant strides in Diana’s health and education, as well as giving us the freedom to travel the world.
